Such a great spot for Fried Chicken! We first met the owner in Richmond Va, and he told us about this location; so we couldn’t leave NC without trying the original. The service was amazing from start to finish. The doors were open, the food came out fast and fresh, and the best part? They even brought it to our table! We actually ordered for delivery a big meal. The order came exactly on time and was missing one item in which I called. they were back within 15 minutes of my call, bringing the item that was missed .exceptional service and really great people to work with!
This was my first time at this restaurant and my experience was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was very thoughtful and attentive. They came by to make sure food was good and to clean up the table afterwards. The chicken was so moist and flavorful. We got both the grilled and the fried so we could try both. The fried chicken was very crunchy and the grilled was straight up delicious. As good as the dinner was, I’d have to say my favorite part was the dessert. The flan was creamy and decadent. I would come back just for the flan !
I came here just before they closed and they treated me like it was the hour that they opened. The food came out quick and hot and flavorful. I didn't expect the fried chicken to be so good, the rice was amazing too. And they have a great selection of natural juices. Please come check them out!
Visited on 11/11/2024. Chicken was delicious, cooked to perfection. The yuca fries were yummy, although, the regular fries were cold. Rice was tasty but I as not a fan of the beans. Locale was very clean and customer services was great!
The grilled chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The flavors made each bite enjoyable. The fries were hot and crispy. The order was taken quickly and correctly.
** Totally Worth the Drive!** We came *all the way from South Carolina* just for Pollo Campero—and it did not disappoint! The chicken was perfectly crispy and full of flavor, the sides were amazing, and the whole experience was absolutely worth the trip. Can’t wait to come back!
Food was good. It's like a Spanish version of chick fila/ Bojangles. Chicken had a good flavor. Pickles on the sandwich are sweet pickles. I put there signature sauce on the sandwich which was good. The empanadas had a good flavor as well. The Mac and cheese was tasty and saucey how mac and cheese should to be. The mango peach drink is good. They serve the food on actual plates! The atmosphere is good. The place was super busy at 2-3pm which is a good sign! Staff was friendly and prompt with service. Food was hot and came out fast. I would recommend eating here!
